Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ is an acronym for Frequently Asked Questions. It is also sometimes used as the singular Frequently Asked Question (Although when was the last time you heard only one question?). Some have called it Frequently Answered Questions as well. This isn't necessarily correct, but it isn't necessarily wrong either. It effectively has the same meaning.

What materials are CottonKite products made of?

CottonKite products are made of natural materials that guarantee optimal air circulation and are safe for the delicate skin of a newborn: bamboo viscose and velor. This combination of fabrics gives a feeling of warmth but will not lead to overheating.

Does the product change shape after washing?

It does not. Despite the fact that CottonKite products are made of natural materials that are more plastic than their artificial counterparts, they retain their shape after washing and during long-term use. This is possible thanks to the edge reinforcement technology used.

2. Can the material sensitize the sensitive skin of a child?

All our fabrics and knitted fabrics are certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX ® in class I co means maximum safety for the most demanding and sensitive consumers, that is newborns and infants.

What is the thickness of the CottonKite sleeping bags?

The thickness of our sleeping bags is 2.5 TOG, which means that they are a year-round product up to temperatures in in the range of 15-21°C

Does the sleeping bag have a two-way zipper?

Yes, our sleeping bags have a two-way zipper sewn in. This makes it easy to change diaper to the baby without having to take it out of the sleeping bag. The slider is very quiet, smoothly and lightly moves over the teeth - its work will not wake the child. Secured with a special tab.

What season is the blanket intended for?

The CottonKite blanket is a year-round product. Made of two layers of materials: bamboo viscose and velor. It will be perfect in the summer as a light duvet (the product does not have a filling). Bamboo viscose has a thermoregulatory effect: in summer the material has a temperature lower by 2-3ºC in relation to the environment, and in winter higher. The velor layer makes the blanket pleasantly warm on colder days.

Is the sheet waterproof?

It is not. Our priority is to provide the child with maximum comfort; therefore, our sheets do not have a waterproof layer that would interfere with air circulation.
